The Administration of SACON is vested in a Governing Council which has 15 members; Financial Advisor, MoEF, Jt. Secretary (CS) or nominee, MoEF; four ex-officio, eight nominees of the Governing Council and the Director, SACON member Secretary. The Chairman of the Governing Council is the Secretary / Spl. Secretary / Addl. Secretary, MoEF, Govt. of India. |

The SACON Society has 30 members comprising the President, all members of the Governing Council (15); 1 Representative of RMAC, 2 Faculty Members, 1PCCF, 1 Principal Scientist of Forest Department, Director (ZSI), 2 Project Managers of National Park, 4 Experts from the field of Ornithology. Apart from the above, scheduled Commercial Banks and General Public contributing Rs.5.00.000/- or above can also be a member of SACON. The Honorable Minister for Environment & Forests, Government of India or his nominee is the President of the society and Director, SACON is the Member Secretary.
The Governing Council is advised by the Rules Sub-Committee, Finance Sub-Committee, Research, Monitoring and Advisory Committee. It also has a Building Sub-committee to advice on the construction activities at SACON. |
